Project Outline: GreenWire completely integrated a C60 Coolerado into this 2400 square foot office space in the Sacramento area. The decision was made to leave the existing 5 ton AC Heat Pump in place. The Coolerado was ducted into the plenum so that the existing AC Heat Pump could be used in the winter as well as the AC for humid days or as a backup. A one way air door allows air to travel into the plenum from the C60 but does not allow air from the existing system into the Coolerado. This worked out exceptionally well and made the system completely flexible.
The C60 inducted air in from the roof and sent the hot humid air back out to the roof. Care was taken to seperate the induction and exaust so they would not mix and be sucked into the C60.
As you can see the result was a very nice installation. Although the office temperature did rise near the windows it stayed very comfortable at 73-76 degrees in the rest of the office. It should be noted that after these pictures were taken we had many days that went over 100 degrees and the office never went over 80 degrees.
